I love “the country” (as it’s called in foxhunting parlance) almost as much as I do the horses and hounds. This solid stone wall at Bright’s Farm is always a thriller, because the field typically comes blasting out of misty woods and surges over this wall into open pasture. Apparently it’s an inviting jump, because I’ve never seen a refusal there. This was a gorgeous moment of harmony between a rider, his four-footed partners and nature.
