You can spend a long time, standing on a frosty bank in the fall chill, listening for the hounds to break cover. If you’re lucky, you’ll hear them singing first, and then the thunder of hooves. This was one of those Saturdays. The Norfolk huntsmen streamed over the massive stone wall at Twinfields—a single streak with his hounds, past the magnificent orange maple and into the woods …It was well worth the wait.
